I received the subject cabinet in perfect condition, and after a few minor mistakes on my part, was able to complete the assembly and final installation of everything as detailed in the instructions. Everything fit perfectly, and the final product looks just like the illustration provided in the advertisement. It's a welcome addition to my media storage capabilities, and is very attractive to room decor.

Cheap construction, not worth the price. : Vaultz Locking CD File Cabinet, 4 Drawers, 15.25 x 14.00 x 14.50 Inches - Black (VZ01049)
I purchased the two-drawer version from another retailer, and this thing is a piece of junk. It's an all-wooden construction with strips of vinyl hastily glued to the sides. The first time I attempted to open the case, strips of vinyl from the outer walls of the drawer peeled back and became stuck to the inside of the casing, preventing the drawer from opening. The whole thing just feels cheap, and I feel that I shouldn't have to super-glue something that I paid this much money for.

I looked at this item a few times and the only reason I held out so long was the negative customer review. I am so glad that I decided to take the chance and buy this item. It is true that the cabinet does sway a lot BEFORE you put the back on, but as soon as you put the back piece on the cabinet stabilizes. All of the screw holes aligned and I had no problem assembling it. The cabinet looks great and none of the finish is coming off. My only complaint is that you do have to make sure that the cabinet is completely straight when you put the back on to ensure that the doors close flush with the sides, but it wasn't that big of an issue. Overall I am quite satisfied with this cabinet.

wobbly and scratched : Prepac Black Large Locking Media (DVD,CD,Games) Storage Cabinet
We have a 1 year old and we needed a DVD shelf that closed. I found this one online and the reviews were mixed so we went ahead and ordered it. We should have listened to the bad reviews. For the price it is not worth it.
Pros:
1. It was fairly easy to put together
2. Once it is all finished it does look nice
Cons:
1. There was not a step that we did that there was not a piece scuffed or scratched. Apparently they knew this was an issue because they sent a black marker to fix them.
2. The top was chipped when we got it and one of the adjustable shelves was broken and unusable (they are supposed to be sending us replacements)
3. It is very wobbly! Even with the back on (which is supposed to make it sturdy) it wobbles from side to side.
4. When we hammered in the nails on the back it cracked the top shelf.
5. Once you put DVDs on the top shelf it is hard to open the left side
6. The pre-drilled holes made a huge mess. There was wood all in them. I had to vacuum them out, but they still made a horrible mess.
7. The thing to attach it to the wall was not good. If we would have used the one they sent we wouldn't have been able to put it flush with the wall
8. Fingerprints show up horribly. However, they do wipe off with windex.
